NNHAAD Community Events Map

The Community Events Map is a listing of events that are taking place across the country in honor of National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, March 20, 2010. The goal of the map is to increase awareness and knowledge of the variety of community events being held, promote participation and attendance at events, and to create opportunities for event hosts to potentially collaborate with other events in their area. It also helps the community, the planners, and funders see how important this day is to support.

As NNHAAD is part of a collaborative planning efforts between NNAAPC, CA7AE:HAPP, and ITCA, responsibilities for hosting the map is also a shared responsibility. Since NNAAPC’s website hosted the Community Events Map last year, CA7AE: HAPP at Colorado State University is hosting the map on their site this year. The map can be accessed by clicking on the map icon below.
