About NNHAAD Nationwide Community Events Map
The Community Events map is a listing of events that are taking place across the country in honor of National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, March 20, 2009. The goal of the map is to increase awareness and knowledge of the variety of community events being held, promote participation and attendance at events, and to create opportunities for event hosts to potentially collaborate with other events in their area.
If an event is taking place in any given state, then a red ribbon will appear within that state on the national map above.  By clicking on the state (either on the map above or through the state listings below) you can access a list of events taking place within that state. Information provided includes, the name of the event, the host agency/group, the location, date, time, and a brief description of the activities.
All of the information provided on this map came from either direct communication with an event host or through the collection efforts of the National Native CBA Network (NNAAPC, CA7AE:HAPP, ITCA). If you would like to add your community event to this map, please click on the link at the bottom of this page to access the Community Events Map Entry Form. Just complete this form and send it to Dale Fenner, NNAAPC Media Specialist, at or fax it to 720.382.2248.
