Native American Candlelight Vigil                                             
Isadore Boni, Apache and AIDS survivor, is hosting this much needed event to remember all Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians who lost the battle against AIDS. Two survivors will break their silence. There will be an open mic, drums and sharing. Everyone is invited to attend this night to remember. 3rd Annual NNHAAD Health Fair                                               
There will be a community health fair with information about HIV/AIDS, special guests, raffles and entertainment througout the event. Native Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Informational      
The Gila River Health Care Family Planning Program will be hosting an informational booth at the 47th Annual Mul-Chu-Tha Fair. Health professionals will provide information for Native Americans in the community on sexual health and well being for both adults and youth. Appointments with our program for HIV and STD screening will be available. The Mul-Chu-Tha Fair is sponsored by the Gila River Indian Community. In recognition of NNHAAD, John Wilson of Navajo Veterans Affairs will share an intimate speech. In his own words, "I want to express my concerns to our young people of our nations". From 9:00 to 10:00 am, there will be an AIDS awareness walk starting at the old Tuba City hospital and ending at the Tuba City flea market where information booths will be posted. Not Simply Red                                                                           
A daylong event filled with interactive education and materials related to the prevention of HIV/AIDS. The focus of the event is on women and girls and the families who support them. There will be presentations consisiting of HIV 101, substance use/abuse, healthy lifestyles, lifeskills and healthy communication. Lunch will be provided for the first 500 attendees and they will also receive NNHAAD products and incentives. There will also be HIV screening available. THis event was sponsored by Holcyon Hill Foundation, womeanshealth.gov, Native Images, Tucson Indian Center, Wingspan, SAMHSA, SAAF, Orasure Techonologies, TIHAN, PCC NASA and various community members. Bikers for Life                                                                             
A poker-run style motorcycle ride to raise awareness of HIV in the community. Registration is $10 per person and the first 300 registrants will receive a free t-shirt. Quechan Tribal HIV/AIDS Awareness Family Day Event      
The event begins with an opening prayer, Kwatsan runners running from the four directions for protection, Post 802 color guard’s posting of colors, tribal dancers, and singers. There will be a walk for wellness at the Diabetes Walking Trail Park, keynote speaker: Lisa Tiger, Indian Health Service speakers, free rapid HIV testing, community speakers, resource booths, children’s activities, and a barbeque lunch with a special performance from Tribal Rock band. The event will conclude with thank you gifts, giveaways and a closing prayer. This event is sponsored by Quechan Tribal Council, Ft. Yuma Alcohol & Drug Abuse Prevention Program, Quechan Community Health Representatives, Quechan Diabetes Prevention, and the Quechan Casino.
