Native HIV Testing Day                                                              
Free walk-in HIV testing in recognition of National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day will be offered at the location listed below and is available to anyone interested. Before and after testing, participants will be treated to HIV/AIDS information and statistics specific to Natives. Strengthen Our Survival: Take the TEST                                 
In support of this specific event and NNHAAD there was a news release in the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribal Observer, posters posted in various locations, and email announcements. There were also 9 large banners developed and put on display at Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation Walk-In Testing at Nimkee Memorial Health Clinic in collaboration with the local health department in an effort to offer additional testing days. NNHAAD lapel pins attached to information about NNHAAD are given to those tested. Testing is offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm.
