Cherokee Recognition of NNHAAD The Cherokee Nation will present two programs on the AIDS pandemic, an information table with free brochures and "personal protection" and also offer free confidential rapid HIV testing. Barbara Williams a.k.a. "The Sex Lady", Certified Prevention Specialist and President of the Green Country AIDS Coalition, will be the one of the speakers and will also be doing the testing. CAPT Ellen Simmons from Claremore IHS and Shana Cozad, a Native living with HIV, will also be speaking. The community is invited to attend and the local media has been informed.
