"The Voice of the Lakota Nation" just prior to the walk. Walk participants are to meet on main street in to town of Martin at 8 am and will be treated to lunch and surprise guest speakers. Women and Girls Take Care of Each Other in a Good Way Women and Girls Take Care of Each Other in a Good Way means Winyankin Wikoskekin Tanyan Nipta Tanyan Awan Icihdakapikte in the Dakota language. Activies for this event will include pidmayaye (thank you) prayer, a welcome dinner, keynote opening circle for girls with Sandi Bernard and keynote speakers Tracey Cooper, HIS Prevention Specialist and Lisa Tiger, AIDS Educator/Survivor. There will also be booths on women’s health issues, outreach acitivies, NNHAAD pins handed out, working groups to increase HIV/AIDS awareness throughout the community, a coming away prayer and a mobile test station.
