Sisseton-Wahpeton YouthBuild is a program that assists underserved youth with acquiring a GED. They also provide concrete job and leadership skills to their program participants. With funding and technical assistance provided by NNAAPC, YouthBuild surveyed youth in their local communities. From the results, YouthBuild produced a youth informed PowerPoint about HIV prevention to be used in schools and youth programs. This PowerPoint reviews HIV facts and myths, local Native statistics, and discusses unspoken risks for getting HIV.
