Wabanaki Mental Health Association
Program: HIV Counseling and Testing Program
Description of Program: The Wabanaki (wub-bub-noc-keig) Mental Health Association HIV Counseling and Testing Program is a division of Sweetser, which provides a variety of behavioral health services. The Program targets Native Americans in the provision of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services. The Program also targets the LGBTTS population. They render services to the five tribes of Maine and First Nations people residing in Canada. Their mission is to serve Native Americans by providing sound, high quality services.
