AIDS Project of the Ozarks                                                                            
Program: AIDS Project of the Ozarks

Description of Program: AIDS Project of the Ozarks (APO) is a community-based program that services a twenty county region in southwest Missouri. APO provides HIV prevention, HIV counseling, both HIV on-site and mobile testing, medical care, case management and HIV education to the community. The program also renders services to HIV infected individuals, their families, and significant others.

Good Samaritan Project                                                                                 
Program: GSP Client Services

Description of Program: The Good Samaritan Project (GSP) Client Services provide supportive care for HIV/AIDS affected individuals and enhance awareness through HIV education and advocacy. The Prevention Education programs offered are: Mentoring Adolescents and AIDS Prevention; Community PROMISE (Peers Reaching Out and Modeling Intervention Strategies); Mpowernment, and Many Men, Many Voices; SISTA (Sisters Informing Sisters on Topics about AIDS), and Healthy Relationships. GSP renders HIV and STD testing in the field or at either offices in Kansas or in Missouri. Good Samaritan Project Prevention Department operates out of the Kansas office.
