Claremore Indian Hospital
Program: Specialty Clinic
Description of Program: The Clinic offers HIV testing and counseling and total medical care as well as some case management. They assist clients with HIV Drug Assistance Program (HDAP) paperwork for those that qualify and for those that do not qualify they complete paperwork to drug companies for HIV medications. Additionally, they offer Hepatitis C testing and services.

Description of Program: The Green County AIDS Coalition has an HIV/AIDS prevention program which offers HIV testing and counseling. As an independent non-profit, the program is not officially affiliated with the Cherokee Nation, although they serve American Indian clientele.

National Indian Women's Health Resource Center
Program: HIV/AIDS Health Promotion & Education Cooperation Agreement Project
Description of Program: The Project provides HIV testing, education and outreach. The Project works with Green Country health services to help provide the follow up counseling for members of the Cherokee Nation. Through funds from the Office of Minority Health, the Project works with two tribal colleges training their students in HIV peer education. The youth are trained to conduct presentations, run their own HIV education booth, and will offer testing during the events such as the Cherokee Holiday, August 31st, 2008.
